Great place to go with a group of buddies or a trip with the family. I have been here multiple times and have never been disappointed. Accommodations are the best you'll find and always delicious home cooked food. They have real trophy hogs no doubt about it.
I hunted two boar preserves prior to Spartan, they were both jokes. Spartan is a family run operation and I don't care where you go, they have the biggest and baddest hogs in the country . Mitch the owner is highly knowledgeable and discussed proper shot placement prior to the hunt (which none of the other preserves did) . Using Mitch's advice I dropped a 500 lb and 800 lb + hog in its tracks each with just one shot. Excellent lodging and home cooked meals. I have been twice and will return again in the future. You may have to add on a trophy room, because the only negative is trying to find wall space to hang these monsters...and that's not really a bad thing.
Mitch and the guys made this hunt and amazing experience. Legit trophy animals, clean and comfy lodge. I'm already planning another trip and this time I'm bring my wife and son. Although my wife doesn't hunt I'm hoping she can spend some time with the ladies in the kitchen and pick up a few pointers.
Well we're do I start. This is my second year to go to Spartan Hunting Preserve. First thing is the Beautiful Lodge and 3 meals a day you get. Wow!!! Also there is no other place to go hunting that will work from start to finish to get you your Trophy and Clean it more than Mitch and his Family. 100% I live and breath hunting and I have never been to a better place to hunt in the World. Take it from me give them a chance and you will be hooked like me. I will go here every year till the day I die.
Great Place. Food, Lodging, Hunting, etc. All top notch. Only place I have ever hunted that Consistently Kills Mature Trophy Animals. Wild Boar, Rams, or Fallow Bucks. They are after Mature Trophies.
